TREAD SUPERVISION SERVICES

Pathmaker offers Thread Supervision services to ensure that manufactures running procedures are diligently followed and that every connection is inspected prior to make-up as a last physical and visual check. Our Thread Supervisors follow an ongoing training program and stay currently with the connection manufactures guidelines. Our Thread Supervisors are there to ensure that nothing sub-standard gets down the hole. Our Thread Supervisors are also trained in field repair and connection theory. If you get a damaged joint on location, we can provide you with information on the connection and see if the connection will possibly fail due to damage. We have experience with 8 round premium casing and tubing such as API, Tenaris, Voestalpine, US Steel, VAM, Hydrill, IPSCO, and EVRAZ.

CASING CLEANING, AIR DRIFTING, AND DIGI TALLY SERVICES

Pathmaker offers Casing Cleaning, Air Drifting, and Digi Tally services to ensure correct preparation and cleaning.

Air Drifting Benefits:

• Saves time
• Frees up Rig Hands for Rig use
• With all pipe, it will eliminate the casing snack from being drug across casing threads
• Drifts are gauged prior to every use

Casing Cleaning (using Solvent) Benefits:

• Cleans pipe effectively
• Thread Washers will flag out any visible damaged joints and report them to company field representatives
• Solvent is filtered for reuse
• With solvent washing the pipe will prevent thread rusting, if in contact with rain or snow
• Casing threads are air blown off so minimal solvent residue is left behind
• In winter, compared to steam washing units, solvent will not leave ice residue which can affect torque monitoring
• We provide large catch trays to contain all solvent

Digi Tally Benefits:

• Laser Tally machine is quick and saves money
• All pipe is measured to proper manufactured make up loss, which ensures accuracy
• All pipe tallies are saved to a USB and are in Excel format for easy access to review, copy and paste.

All Operators are fully trained, experienced and have all required safety certifications
